Hobie 16 aft tramp frame casting crack

Hey all,
I noticed this after sailing today. Should I replace right away or over the winter?

You need to replace that immediately. It will fail catastrophically.

Many thanks. I do have a spare trampoline frame. I'll swap it over before I sail again.

I've swapped in my other casting. I'm curious if anybody has welded up a casting or not before. Would be good to put the cracked one back into the spare parts pile.

Welded one 40 years ago. Cracked up the middle of the weld on the next trip.
