I have not had a chance to demo a 2019 outback and it will likely be a while before I get the chance. So, can anyone comment on the leg room of the 2019 Outback vs older Outbacks? My Outback is a 2011 and at 6'3" the leg room is a bit cramped for me even with pedals set to 7.

I'm 6'2" and found that the newer vantage seating helped feel less cramped. You might find the same going from a 2011. The specs are probably the same. 45 seat to peg and 48 overall.

If the outback is too small the PA might fit you better.

Thanks for the info pounce! I am hopeful in hearing that the vantage seat may offer a bit more legroom. I am pretty happy with my 2011 Outback but the new Outback has some pretty nice features and layout. One factor in deciding whether to upgrade is whether I feel like l have a bit more legroom A pro angler would be sweet but they are just too heavy for me and the places I launch. I have a long pull on the cart to some of my launch points.

I did not get out in the water in a 2019 but I did get to sit in one in a showroom. There seems to be a fair bit more legroom with the 2019 outback compared to my 2011 outback. I think, as pounce mentioned above, that it is due to the seat. I am not sure when Hobie switched to the Vantage seats so the extra legroom may be there in models prior to 2019 that have the vantage seat.

My big challenge now is to make room in the garage!
