Hello Hobie Owners!

Is the 2019 Outback still compatible with the Hobie Ama Kit for sailing?

Thanks Matt! This is the best accessory made by Hobie in my opinion. Great quality.

I installed the sidekicks on my 2019 Outback, and it makes a HUGE difference in chop, and standability. 2-3’ swells with no issues or stress. They’re a must have- I’d love to see how they work under sail!

Here is my setup:
First I made aluminum plates on CNC Engraver and anodized them.

Previously, I moved the front H-Rails at the back.

Fits perfect!

Very nice, I like it! I just looked at options for mounting the ama kit and couldn’t quite settle on anything yet, this looks terrific!

Can you elaborate on what you mean by extended center bar? I want to build this exact setup, if that is a different part number can you specify if possible.

Thanks!
