Post subject:  foam blocks in outback

I removed the foam blocks to make sure the inside of my kayak was clean enough to get into a SoCal lake with quagga mussel restrictions. I guess I should have made better notes as to their location for reinstallation. Is there a diagram or any info on their location. I think I got them close, but a couple of them are really really tight to get in. Thanks in advance. Mike

On the 2019... Each of the two blocks go behind the scupper tubes. One on each side. And they zip tie to each of the tubes.

thanks Matt, I guess I should have stated in the first place I have a 2016 Outback. There were 6 blocks I think.

A few years back, flotation in the form of blocks was added to all Hobie Mirage drive kayaks in case the hull is breached/full of water :wink:
