This may be more of a question for Hobie Customer Service, but I figured one of you may know the answer. I just purchased a 2019 Outback a few weeks ago, and when I got home I noticed that the upper part of the seat (i.e. the backrest) was labeled as "Vantage CT" and it had "CT" as the prefix on the seat serial number. The seat/bottom appears to be wide; however, I don't have any information on the dimensional/characteristic differences between CT and CTW seats. Is this something common, or do I need to request something different?

Any info/insight is greatly appreciated.

Any seat in the 2019 as far as I know should be the Vantage CTW which is an inch wider left to right, but and inch narrower front to back

It should say CTW on back of seat. If not, call and see why they gave you an older seat model

I had the same problem. Hobie says it was a labeling error from the factory. You have the correct seat.
