Heads up. I almost lost a 250 dollar setup yesterday.

I got a yak attack h rail rod holder. Installed on the plastic outboard h rail on my 2019 outback.

Was trolling and got whacked, went to grab rod, rod got hit again and it pulled the rod, and rod holder out of the plastic h rail

I spent an hr fishing for my rod in 20 fow which I got back but the rod holder is gone.

Upon inspection. I can see the plastic damaged and deformed from the rod holder pulling out of it.

I will be securing my new rod holder on the in board aluminum h rails moving forward.

I'm almost positive it wasnt loose as I had caught 3 schoolies prior ot the incident. I've never moved the rod holder and I've used it 6 times already.

Just be careful
