 Post subject: Mast Button

All the photos of Hobie Outbacks show what looks like a black button of some sort on the vertical wall just below the mast socket. I took delivery of a new Outback yesterday and there is only a small pinhole in that location. Did Hobie miss something? Either way, what is it for?

We used to include the eyelet post, but it is now in the sail kit.
