My husband and I purchased two Hobie Mirage Outbacks in June 2021. The closest dealer with these in stock was Scheels in ND, a 350-mile drive. They received several Hobie Outbacks in March 2021; however, Hobie did not ship seats to go with those kayaks and the seats are still delayed. Is there an alternative seat compatible with the Hobie Mirage Outback or another place to purchase just the Vantage CTW seats?

Thanks much!

No alternative and since supplies are so limited... no way a dealer could buy one either. The good news is that we are catching up and are working on early July orders now.

Turns out we are shipping seats to the Bismark store today.

Hey @mmiller - I’m facing a similar delay on a seat and wanted to see if you could provide guidance. My Outback was ordered through Great Outdoor Provision Co in Raleigh, NC, they’ve had the kayak for a couple of weeks.

Thanks for any update you’re able to provide!

Josh

Do you see things returning to pre-covid status this year?

With China being on lockdown and seeing cases rising in the US and many countries... not likely right away. This will still take some time. We are fully stocked with boats and doing better all the time on parts... just not sure.

Boats have been shipping complete for the most part for several months.
