Waiting for delivery of my 2021 Outback and still confused about acceptable options for storage in my Florida garage. I thought about a Harken hoist, but it likely requires me to empty it completely and store upside down. I also considered making a rack out of saw horses and attaching a set of Hobie cradles to store the yak long term in upright position. Then I came across this SUSPENZ KAYAK WORK STATION LARGE 34" 2021 that has wide straps and allows me to roll the yak to clean it and also allows me to keep it a waist height to work on mods. I'm wondering if anyone has considered this option and if Hobie would approve since the straps are wide and appear to support the hull well.

I can’t say if that would be okay, looks too narrow. You may want to look at the manufacturer’s specs here:

I would not buy anything from the web site you provided. This is likely a scam website which explains why the price is half of msrp…

I own two sets of Suspenz Deluxe Racks which I use for my 2018 outback, and they are high-quality and well designed.

They have a helpful fit chart: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1844/7001/files/Fit_Chart-BoatToRack_02-16-18.pdf?17599617855335678607

I suspect the portable work stands will also work just fine since they meet the minimum 1" wide strap requirements of Hobie when hanging the kayak; Hobie recommends storing upside down but does not mandate it: https://www.hobie.com/articles/storing-your-kayak,85/

Here's a sizing guide for the Suspenz work stands: https://suspenz.com/collections/portable-work-stands
