I understand that there is a correct way to store the kayaks. Would it be proper to store them deck-side down on two saw horses? How about laying one on top of the other, while on saw horses, and stacking them for a couple of weeks at a time?

You can store your kayak upside down resting on two crossbars. The rails of the kayak are very stiff and can support the weight easily. Padded crossbars will reduce the chance of any scratches or marks on the rails.

If you must store it right side up, use cradles or something that is shaped to the contour of the hull. It the kayak is resting right side up with little to no support, this puts the entire weight of the kayak on one point on the bottom and possibly cause a flat area to develop.

The passports are designed to be stored stacked together as long as they're the same length model. Hope this helps!

Here is how I store my 10.5’ Passports. On two 4x4x34” wood boards with rubber pads glued to the top side. No issues. They are there across the full Minnesota summer (when not in use) and winter.
