Excited to see the passports have a lobby!
Finally about to pull the trigger as a first time pedal kayak buyer, and leaning heavily to passport 12 with a dealer installed rectangular hatch and bucket.
But I am concerned about compression with car topping (and a sig other who likes to double check security)
Should I be ok with the thermoformed hull (regarding compression) for using a rectangular bucket (at least before many sig o checks)?

I have two Passport 12s and put the rectangular hatch in both of them. You will be surprised how thick the hull of the boat is.
