Hi, just want to know if it's possible to install a SideKick Ama Kit for sailing stability on a Lynx?

Thanks

The Lynx is not designed to be drilled into, so would have to mount to existing mount points. I don't believe this will work.

Looks like a terrific set up. I had two questions I hope you can clarify… The fixed tube on the sidekick set is 24 inches long. On the Linyx, the H rails are about 29 inches apart. How are you able to mount the rigid tube? Mine would be too short. Also, do you know if it's possible to buy the accessory you used in the United States?

Thanks

There are two options, one is to extend the original pipe from the Hobie kit, the other option is to make a new pipe, which turned out to be easier, although there is one detail that makes it a little difficult to implement. The holes into which the akas enter are conical and must be made additionally on a lathe.

The original SIDEKICK - XBAR MIDDLE is 61cm (~24")
This pipe from the pictures is 76cm (~29.9") I made this tube for Hobie Outback so that the factory rails can be used without having to add H-RAIL UPGRADE FOR OUTBACK as I showed in this video.

My opinion is that the tube should be 78 cm (30.7"), so it can be fixed directly behind the seat.

I can check how much the transport costs to the USA will be and I will write to you.

Hi, great mod. Totally cool. I checked out the link but it doesn't seem to work for me. I'm in London, UK, if theres any chance you could help me get a pair of those rail clamps I'm happy to pay you upfront. ( :

I'm in Bulgaria, so you're not very far. :)
Just to finish some of the tasks that have accumulated, because I spent a month on the Greek islands with my cat and now I'm wondering where to start. :)

In the second part of the video I put the shots with one Lynx and one iTrek 11.
