I've seen video of a Lynx rigged with an H-rail horizontally, across the kayak. Any idea how this was done? It doesn't seem like a purpose-built kit, I'm guessing it was a longer rail cut down to size.

The distances between the two mounting points are 26" in the front and 26 5/8" in the rear, so too long for the 21" rail kit. Maybe one of the PA kits (although those rails are curved). Can you buy an uncut length of H-Rail somehow not part of a kit?

Thanks!
Will

The H rails were designed for the newer Outback and have to be cut down. These rails do not have "slots".

I used the Outback rail cut to size sold the second one to a bud who bought a LYNX as well. I have a bunch of rail adapters I want to use a paddle holder for my net handle as well as one for my gopro.
