No idea on a follow-up model. Rotomolding is heavier. This process is lite and stiff.

Thank you for info, but i was thinking more in depth review....

Forwarded to our warranty and engineering departments. These questions and the bearings one should be directed to your dealer in Europe. They can best assist you in following the proper channel in your region.

well i really like linx...........strugling to get more info.....due to new model there is little info on web......a lot of people complaining about the price for hobie products.Well they are expensive , and the hobie stuff often justifies this fact by customer service and support ,research.......so where is this support now.......seems hobie is relying on dealers to do all the work.......today was talking to dealers in three countries .......Austria , guy don t know about lynx -when i told them they have info about on their web ,say no lynx for this year.......deutschland maybe one(1)lynx in june , price and availability unknown...........none of them would have demo boat this year......i drove 500km in one direction to buy my outback and would do it again to try lynx but where....
I got chance for lynx 2.7k eur +25% TAX( yes we have 25) but have to decide till monday or will be sold.......
Dont want to be hard ......but here we decide buying your products on someone elses experiance or opinion....we can t see , touch or try them before........hope this explains why all questions.........

Will a Cellblok (1.6lbs) + Lowrance Elite Ti 7 cause balance issues on the Lynx, and will the molded in trak support that weight?

Can the paddle be stored on the left side?

Trying to figure out if the Lynx is in my future :) - no chance to demo it local dealer said they're not getting enough units to demo

Lynx Manual: https://media.hobie.com/digital_assets/Lynx_Manual.pdf

Lynx Parts Guide: https://media.hobie.com/digital_assets/Lynx_Parts_Guide.pdf

Regarding paddle storage, from the manual and diagram it is only provisioned on the starboard side with the bungee ball built into the handle. If you swapped handles the paddle might interfere with the steering handle, don’t know.

Howie, thanks for the response a bit back regarding the Humminbird SI transducer. I found this that seems to be what I'd need assuming that it is size-compatible with the Lynx's transducer port and the specific transducer on my Helix 5 SI:

https://www.berleypro.com/product/berle ... its-hobie/

Any thoughts on that? I understand that you can't say for sure whether/how well it'll work given that it's not a Hobie product, but minimally do you know if the Lynx's transducer port is the same size as on other Hobie kayaks?

Thanks in advance!

Well i guess they can t pm or email me.......this is all the superiority and glory of hobie support.......getting used to this to ask and get a promo video for reply.......we have to take your word about superiority of hobie products since more in depth questions dont get answer......and dealers here realy have tech knowledge.......yes for now you can t keep up with sales ,but this can change some time.

Sorry Sir... It is simply not always possible to get personal support from a manufacturer. As I am not in sales, I just don't know the details you are asking for, so I have to rely on the published information.
