Given the ACE-TECH construction what is the recommend hull attachment point for a mirage drive tether or “leash”?

Please and thank you.

Looks like the best spot is the cargo hold-down hardware in the bow area.

Thank you Matt. I was looking at it again today and thought the same thing. I’ll give it a try my next trip out.

Another option might be the mast socket. Remove the screw on the underside and pull out the socket. It helps to put a line around the tab on the aft side of the post to give you some purchase since it’s a tight fit. Create a small loop of line around the post so that a section of the loop sticks out after reinstalling the post and you have a sturdy attachment point. When reinstalling the post, pay attention as there is a thin tab on the bottom cap that aligns with a groove in the post. I installed the one below as an attachment point for a stand up assist strap.

Great idea, I’ll give that a try as well.
Thank you.

I put an Outback rail cut to size across and attach the drive leash to it.
