Hi,
Can anyone explain why some of the Lynx Mirage drive pedals are riveted on and some are the older nut and bolt system. ?

I am trying to find out, but can't get ahold of engineers or the factory person that might know. Very possible that it is a mix as we are short on materials or they are mid-change over... or a dealer placed a drive in a boat because we shipped the boat without one... If I can find out, I will let you know.

Don’t know what the norm is but both our Lynx kayaks have riveted pedals.

It’s cool, Hobie Europe are sorting it out for me.They are sending me two new riveted pedal/cranks. The new Lynx is awesome I can’t wait to get back out on the water. In all the years I’ve enjoyed Hobie this is the first issue I’ve had with a drive but my local dealer and Hobie Have been what you expect, first rate. Happy days
