Hi, Can anyone explain why some of the Lynx Mirage drive pedals are riveted on and some are the older nut and bolt system. ? |

I am trying to find out, but can't get ahold of engineers or the factory person that might know. Very possible that it is a mix as we are short on materials or they are mid-change over... or a dealer placed a drive in a boat because we shipped the boat without one... If I can find out, I will let you know. |

Don’t know what the norm is but both our Lynx kayaks have riveted pedals. |

It’s cool, Hobie Europe are sorting it out for me.They are sending me two new riveted pedal/cranks. The new Lynx is awesome I can’t wait to get back out on the water. In all the years I’ve enjoyed Hobie this is the first issue I’ve had with a drive but my local dealer and Hobie Have been what you expect, first rate. Happy days |
