Hi, all have a question about sails have an 89'H17 no jib and was wondering if there would be a significant difference in performance handling etc, etc.in going with a squaretop vs. the standard sail i have yet to even sail the H17 as i just picked it up and live in Northern MI,But am considering buying a squaretop as i've heard great thing of them.Since a H17 is a singlehander will it be a noticeable difference.I will race it with mono's and Tri's up to 55'and a few other Cats on a PHRF rating so what do ya think. It will be used alot as i use my H16 but cant always get a Crew thats why i got the H17.

I went to a Squaretop (Whirlwind Super R) on my H17Sport a few years back and wouldn't consider going back to the standard sail. I think it is faster on and off the wind.
