Just got my first 17 (no jib). i've always sailed 16's. Question is....in high wind, i'm getting blown about. Hobie only wants to go downwind. not able to get on a beam or a close reach at all.
Can someone please point me in a direction that will allow me to learn how to sail this thing??
thanks so much

Put travler about 2-4 inches up, depending on wind. Do not try to go about 50-55 degress angle unless it is blowing stink. The boat needs t foot when it is light to medum air. If you more quetions email me or call me after 4pm Sunday.

I would also try Matt Millers advice of raking the mast back to the point that the blocks are nearly touching. This should help the boat point.
