Anybody know where to get used Hobie 17 sails? I'm working on a couple of ideas but I need extra sails to try them out. |

I have a really old one in rough shape. Mylar with lots of delamination and some small holes that could easily be patched. You pay shipping and $75 and you could have it. No battens though. |

I have one older one (I have a newer set) and the older main sail as extra. It has some lines of delam, a hole around the window that could easily be fixed. It's not bad looking. I could shoot pics. I'd take... 200.00 for it - plus shipping. |

I still have this. Would be excellent alternative to parting out a boat. It will allow you to sail it - or even sell it as a whole then. make it 225 shipped. If more than that - I'll pay the extra. for photos - see my Facebook page. It looks better in person than lousy iPad photos. needs some minor repair. There is a rip in the corner of the main window (near bottom). If I were to keep it - I would patch it with clear "Tedlar" sail patch. I can include some upon buyer request. I I have slightly better main + jib so I don't need this one. RETURNABLE - I will take it back within 10 days, if you aren't pleased. But you'll need to pay shipping both ways. ron at portranet.com to reach me faster than messaging me on the forum. Once I try the 17 I have I may sell the spreader and jib if I don't find it's needed. (as I'd like to keep this boat quick and simple) to sail and put away.
