Agree the H17 doesn't handle weight well at all. Tell me about the Getaway wings? they don't look as wide and comfy

No, they are an aluminum extrusion about 8" wide. Hard to sit on, a little slippery. If they were concave, they'd be a lot more secure feeling to sit on.
They fold up and down with pins to hold them in place instead of swapping the wings around. You're not supposed to trap off them with just the pins to hold them in place, in case they fold up under the load.
I read a posting that suggested putting foam under the cover, which is laced on. I'm going to try it one of these days.
I'm also considering fabricating 17-style wings if I get really ambitious!
