Matt, Back in 2014 you posted a drawing showing addition of a "Sport Clew Patches and bolt rope" to a standard Hobie 17 sail to convert it to a sail that could use the standard boom or the boomlet. I plan to modify my sail for this option. I need help/information with the following: 1). What are the sizes of the patches? 2). What weight sail cloth are the patches made from? 2). Are the patches on both sides of the sail? 3). What is the size and length of the added "Sport Clew Bolt Rope" ? I appreciate the help. Arthur |

Capri18220 You will love the added speed the jib gives your boat in lighter winds. If your boat has the integrated track on the front crossbeam, you can modify (changing sheeting angle both vertically and horizontally) a set of H16 jib cars to allow you to track the footing of the jib in and out to match your point of sail - sweet) |
