Newer boats have an opening in the middle of the crossbars that allows the tramps to be installed/removed without taking the boat apart. Earlier boats, you need to take everything apart to work on the tramp. One bolt in each corner of the frame is all it takes to get the boat apart. Remove the bolts and slide the hulls off. If the connections are worn, it should come apart easily. This is most easily done with the boat on the ground (not on the trailer). Having a helper also makes things easier, especially during reassembly.
