Hi All,
The rudder spare parts has arrived from Murrays.
Everything seems fine except the Delrin screw for the spring, part nr. 6045 00 00.

It's too tight and i can maximum turn it 1/4 until it's stuck.

Any idea from anyone? Can different Hobies have different screws? From what i read and heard before
was that HC16 and HC17 shares this part.

Metric vs ANSI threads?

As I recall, the US Delrin screw has 3/4-10 threads (3/4 inch diameter / 10 threads per inch).

Not sure what the European equivalent would be.

BTW, this is not the first time this has happened. The search function is pretty handy and led me right to this discussion: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=47267&hilit=delrin+screw+thread
