I'm converting my HC17 from 1988 to HC17 sport.
Just picked up a bow spreader pole and the boat (for unclear reasons) had furling system + very old jib.
So..., things are falling apart.
BUT, now i come to think about how to sheet the jib. I see there are different ways of solving this matter.
Fixed blocks with cleats on the front beam, put a block with cleat half way on the hull/hulls, 'floating traveler tracks' on front beam (like HC16) etc..
I know the jib isn't passing the front beam - so no reacher.
Can choice of system effect upwind performance etc...
Pros and cons please. And lots of pictures is possible...
