Last digit is missing from a Hobie 17 serial number. Can anyone tell me why?

Serial Number:
CCM/L0366/B68

Last section should have 4 digits: B68?

Thanks for any incite.

Mark

It happens... serial numbers are completed at the time of shipping and it could have been missed. Likely a "6". 1986 model built in February 1986.
