Post subject:  Hobie Club in Midwest
I'm starting a club website in the St. Louis area, all Hobie owners willing to drive to St. Louis and Carlyle Lake, Il. are invited to send photos of their boat and join the club as a way to keep in touch with other cat owners and to plan sailing outings in 2010 sailing season. We hope to get as many Hobie's sailing together as possible, the more the better. If interested, send photo and name or leave a comment, all are welcome, have a Hobie Day! Jim. 8)

FYI, there's an established Hobie Fleet at the Carlyle Sailing Association - Hobie Fleet 123

True, but for many Cats I know, Carlyle is 1 3/4 hr. drive, plus gas, and Creve Ceour is only 20-30 minutes away. When I hook up, I need to hit the water as soon as I can! We will be planning trips and camping on weekends, but for week day sailing, Creve Ceour is very close and yet exciting! :D Thanks, and have a Hobie Day! Jim.
