Post subject:  standard epo or carbon

I must change the rudder blades of my H14, I saw several kinds of rudder blades on some websites. I found standards, epos, and, here in italy also the carbons ones

...which are the main differences?
are the last two the same thing?
Epo and carbon seem to have the same characteristics and made in different times...this seems to be the main reason of the 2 different names
Thank you

Max

The standard white plastic rudders are less expensive than the EPO (and new EPO) rudders (fiberglass / kevlar / carbon fiber) because they twist quite a bit more. You can expect better performance from composite rudders than the plastic ones, but it's up to you if you want to spend twice as much money on them. :)

If you don't race, there isn't a real reason to get the EPOs.
