Hi guys, I have an european Hobie 13 which looks like a shorter Hobie 18. Now this bird has only 10sqm including jib and I thought about tuning it. So I bought a Hobie 14 main. Now the main of the 14 is about 27 inches longer than my Hobie 13 sail. And certainly i attached a boom. Now the Hobie 13 is only 10 inch shorter than the 14 and I am now thinking about if it got a wheather-helm now or not. (I can only test it in a few weeks). Does anybody has some info about this effect on a Hobie 14. Did anybody attach a greater sail (or even a 16 rig) on the 14? Would be pretty interesting. Thanks a lot and best greetings, Metsche |
