How can I replace the lower forestay on my jib?

If it's a stock Hobie Turbo jib, then the lower forestay is sewn into the jib luff.

You can try sending it to a sailmaker, but depending on the condition of the sail, it's likely that they'll just tell you to get a new sail - the cost of the work is more than the sail is worth.
