Hobie Cat battens

So I bought a new sail for my Hobie 14 and now I need new battens because my old sail is a 5-batten sail, new one is 6-batten. I am wondering where a good place to buy new battens and caps would be. Also, will I need to trim these battens? I saw on www.sailingproshop.com that I can buy a 6-batten set for $145. Is this a good price and can I be sure that the battens will actually fit?

A side question...What is the difference in performance between the 5 and 6 batten sails? The 5-batten seems a little taller, but not quite as wide.
