Years ago, a very old, beat up, stripped and demasted hobie 14 washed up at my place. I asked around looking for it's owner for some time. I eventually learned it had been floating up and down for 20 odd years. There is no hardware, just some very leaky pontoons, and the four aluminum frame members. I'm going to cut up the pontoons for disposal, and recycle the aluminum.
While trying to give it a home, I was told that it was so beyond repair, missing every bit of hardware, that it wasn't worth any effort but, that if it had a dolphin striker, someone may want that, as the older boats didn't come with one.
So, before I junk it all, if anyone wants the dolphin striker, and the cable assembly tethers to the uprights (don't know the nomenclature), they can have it for the cost of shipping. Just send an email to msoclr at yahoo.com. Replace the " at " with @.
