hi to all...
finally i have finished to arrange a 9mq (i think 96 sqf) touse into my h14...
i have used an old windsurf mast and do the pulleys like the hobies spi.
it can be dangerous for my cat...
i have fear to broke my shroud and demast....
wich is the best wind speed to use it?

Spinnaker?

Light air. The boat is pretty tough. I would be you will capsize before damaging it.

thanx matt...
just another question,light air is maximum 10 knots or something plus?
it is a simmetrical spi so what is the best way to use it ( the angle with the wind)?
sorry maybe are stupid questions but i'am a newbie in this world...
i plaied just ice hockey :)

Depends on the sail cut and whether it fits the boat correctly. Optimized spinnakers can be used closer to the wind (closer to 90 degrees wind angle). Most spinnaker use is down wind to 45 degrees from straight down wind.

Wind speed? 12-15 knots is the upper end for comfortable use.

perfect...now i have a good start point to do the job...
i have finished all the hardware,i'm just workink into the snuffer system....
where i can found a draw of the spi\snuffer configuration?
i think that i'll to close the jib during the spi use....
i'll post some pix when i have finished the work.

Is that sailing angle in relation to the wind, true for the Tiger also?
