I'm going to upgrade my H14T with:
- mast rotator
- grind out the rotation stops a bit
- downhaul (adjustable)
- maybe positive rotator system (from center of boom to front of tramp or crossbar)

The downhaul doesn't slide easily... it's clean and not gummed up.. just seems that the metal on metal isn't the best, esp. compared to a loose-footed main where the downhaul pulls on the sail rather than the boom....

is there a way to improve this? - Thanks

You might need a new gooseneck bearing? (part # 51511 - order from any Hobie Dealer) You can see this item on page 25 of our parts catalog. Here's a link to the download page: http://www.hobiecat.com/support/catalog-request/
