| Post subject: | mast base with no hole |
I want to add the step link kit to my boat but neither the mast step or mast base are drilled. I read the directions from Hobie on drilling the mast step, but can I drill the base or do I need to buy one that's are already drilled? Are they the same base or have they changed? Thanks |

You should be able to drill the existing base. There used to be instructions in the kit to do that. If not I may be able to dig an old one up. |
