Hello

Wednesday I am going to look at a Hobie14 Turbo that i want to buy. My question is simple. What are the things i should look out for?

Standard stuff - check overall condition of the big ticket items like hulls, mast, sails, tramp. Make sure they are all in reasonable working condition. Definitely check the hulls for soft spots, especially in the area in front of the forward crossbar. If the hulls are soft, walk away.

You also want to check the aluminum side bars where the chain plates are riveted. This area can corrode and if the corrosion is excessive, it can fail and the mast will come down.

Don't forget to give the trailer a good inspection too.
