How easy is it to right the Hobie 14 singlehanded? I way 165 pounds. I'm looking for the fastest Hobie cat that I can easily sail solo. How fast is the 14 compared to the 16? How about compared to the Wave?

I've always wanted a Hobie 16, but more importantly I want to sail solo most of the time. In the cold lakes around seattle I need something that's easy to right. I'm 165 pounds and don't feel comfortable righting the 16 on my own. What's the fastest Hobie Cat you'd recommend for single-handing? I read one post where someone clocked a Wave at 14mph, but the one I tried seemed soooo sluggish compared to the 16. What about a Hobie 14? I've never tried one. Thanks.

I've got a 16 and a 14t. I can right the 14 solo without too much effort as long as she doesn't turtle- the 16 is near impossible without a righting aid (I'm 5-9 and 170 lbs). The 14 doesn't feel as fast or powerful as the 16, but it's way faster than the Waves I've sailed around. 14's are tons of fun and easy to sail alone, especially the turbo in high winds!
