I just recently added a jib to my H14, using new Murray's equiptement. When I tried to raise the mast the other day, the forestay/ pigtail/bridle/furler combination was far to long; I was getting mast rake numbers in the high 50s and low 60s with everything pinned as tight as I could get it. The mast looked like it was about to pop out if the raising pin wasn't in, and everything seemed ridiculously loose. I understand that the I should be able to turn the shrouds 90 degrees, and I can still adjust them, so that is not a concern, but the rake seemed downright dangerous- I think the mast would pop out with very little effort. Is there a solution? It would be great if someone take some pics of their entire forestay/ bridles setup and email them to

Thanks
Jon
