Well i have found a small lake that i have been using since i picked up my 16 in july. Not much wind on the lake because it sits in a hole but for the beginner its a great place to hone the skills needed to sail. Its not very big at all the launch is a bit rocky or you can use the concrete side. If anyone has more info for fresh water sailing in ct please drop me a line here. I still need more practice but getting better every day i go out. not looking forward to the winter months but spring should be good do some maintence on the 16 then get it out again when the weather warms up.
