Wifey and I motored around Kerr launch sites half a day with boat in tow. From Kimball's to County Line to Henderson. The three sites listed as "sailing friendly."
Also looked at Hibernia and Satterwhite.
Anyone got any experience there? Any recommendations on launch sites? Or cat friendly camping areas where the boat can be pulled up on beach wheels?
Many ramps look like they have recently been re-done and they are huge, well-engineered, and nice. But they aren't cat friendly or small boat friendly. No place to wade the boat out and jump on. Rip-rap everywhere.
Can someone be called and recommend "going green" and putting in a sailboat launch?
