| Post subject: | Hobie 16--Good Week's Sailing in PA, NJ, NY in August?? |
Looking for a place to spend a week sailing an H16 in early August. Live near Philly, and anyplace within say 6 or so hours drive would be great. My two biggest interests are in finding decent launch sites (trailer or beach wheels) and enough expanse of water for the wind to loose the not-so-fun turbulence it has on small lakes. Also I guess not too interested in crowds or serious surf launches. Was looking at the Oneida lake area and wrote the fleet there, but no answer yet. Places I'm used to around Philly are Trixies Landing on Barnegat Bay, Lake Nockamixon, Marsh Creek, and Spruce Run. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. |

Should have included Delaware above. What would Rehoboth bay be like to visit with an H16 in August? thanks. |
