Anyone have plans to sail the Pamlico this year? Washington/Belhaven area?

We've been mulling over a trip to that area. We don't want to go at peak touron season, so it would likely be something in the pre-Memorial Day/post-Labor Day periods and probably take place down at Ocracoke to avoid the crowds.

Ocracoke. Great area. Pure village life style.
I sail further west in the Pamlico. river/sound. About forty miles west. Ocracoke has the perfect access for small cats. Very little water traffic on such a large piece of water (sound side). 2-3' chop is the norm.
I guess I don't need to tell to to stop by and have the world's best burger and fries at Howard's Pub. No, I don't work there or have interest other than they have the best food after a day of sailing/surfing. I make it to the island about twice a year. By far, my fav. area.
Come on spring..
