Just bought a Hobie 16

I tried out the green pond ramp at hartwell today. It had a beach you could pull up on but the current lake level revealed many large rocks on it. It also is on a point and offered very little protection from the wind.

I saw a hobie 16 launch from apple island, I am gonna try that one next. No sand beach but no rip-rap either. It was very protected.
