On Lake Erie - Caonneaut Ohio is 70 miles east of Cleveland - Our beach is a huge sand bar protected inside the Conneaut Break wall. - Controlled by the Conneaut Port Authority and Policed by the local police. We launch for Free - sand is packed enough to drive you car right to the lake edge. typically there are 4 or 5 cats on the beach for the entire season with masts up - again this is with the blessing of the Port Authority and at no cost to cat sailors. I don't know how it could get any better - Rick
