Late summer at Edisto Beach again We launched the hobie 16 at public access no 25 no problems we put in the mighty Hobie 21 SE in at the marina and motored around to our house on the St Helana Sound launch fee was 10 bucks. Stored the boats behind the sand dunes on hard packed sand if front of the house We did get the usual turtle ticket which everyone with a hobie gets from the sea turtle police we ignore these as the boats are parked out of the turtle nesting areas I saw some deer tracks around the boats one morning strange stuff to happen on a beach The rental house is about 500 feet from the front beach and is on the sound This is the finest beach I have ever found for any Hobie Cat Will be back next year Former Hobie Admiral Gary |
