I'm going to be in the Swansboro, NC area in a couple of weeks. The place I'm staying is on the ICW but the waterfront is riprap sandwiched between two piers with a concrete ramp. :( The strong currents, obstacles, and lack of sandy beach make it a very challenging launch spot. Does anyone know a better place to sail here? Is there a good launch spot near town or on the river somewhere?
