Greetings All!

I am looking for a place to camp AND sail. I would like to have my H16 right there at the campsite with me ready to sail at a moments notice. My homebase is San Diego. Any suggestions?

Cheers and Beers!
Rob

Hi Rob - We're from San Diego also.
Campland by the Bay in Mission Bay Park is a very good place to camp & sail. Other than that I can't think of any place else close by.
If you don't mind traveling a little: San Felipe, Mex., Huntington Lake in the Sierras, and Lopez Lake are all outstanding.
Check out the hobiefleet4 web site. I was informed by the commodore that recreational sailors are invited to join them at their regattas. You don't have to race. They travel around to interesting places to camp & sail.
Good luck!
Rich
