Post subject:  Rain water in between hulls on 12 hobie monohull

Hi, I left the bow out from under the carport and rain water somehow got in between the hulls. My guess is about 3-5 gallons. The boat on the trailor. There isn't any water in the cockpit, but the boat is heavier and I can hear water in between. Any ideas how to get it out? I'm only one person and it is heavy. and how did it get in there, .......possibly the mast step hole? I don't see any cracks or such in the cockpit. or anywhere else. I hope someone can help with a tip. I'm stumped and summer is going by too fast. I really want to get it on the water. Thanks, Sandy

There is a drain plug in the stern. Right side of center... small plastic screw. If water is trapped forward, it may be in the structure supporting the mast. You tip forward then on the side... then lift the bow.

Likely there is a crack in the mast receiver.
