Can it be repaired? Yes.

Is it worth repairing? Not likely.

I'd say the sail is totalled. That would be a time consuming and expensive repair to do properly. You'd likely be looking at several hundred dollars for a loft to fix. And its a highly loaded part of the sail so a simple patch will not hold up. You'd be putting money into a sail that's well past its prime. It would be much better to put that money towards a more recent used sail.
