Post subject:  Beats better on Port tack

My boat deffinately beats to weather on a port tack better than starboard. Any ideas. There is a slight bend in the mast (about 3/4" over the length of the mast) to starboard. Seems to me that would make things act just the opposite. Shrouds look to be about the same tension but I haven't checked them yet. Help :?
